Job Purpose
The role is responsible to develop raw data extracted from multiple operational platforms to provide insightful dashboards and identify business trends. The role is also required to collaborate and support the AVP- ASO to enable the Operations teams to enhance the Operational effectiveness, efficiency and ensure optimal service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Business unit purpose
Provide administrative support and operational data analytics then recommend solutions to the Operations team (Flight Preparations & Airside Operations) in order to enable the teams to take strategic decision pertaining to day-to-day Operations. This role also requires working on GLP's, Rosters, day to day manpower/resource forecasting, Operational data Analytics, and Employee administration support.
Key Accountabilities
- Establish the Operations parameters and resources demand on a daily basis to manage day to day operations in order to enable the centralized scheduling team (Kronos) to ensure optimum utilisation of resources in Operations.
- Identify operational gaps and trends through analysis of Operations data, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions to the Senior Operations Manager - Business Support for Operations (FPO & ASO) including variance analysis to evaluate day of operations performance.
- Collaborate with airline representative and stakeholder (Internal & External) to evaluate/improve the Galley load Plan (GLP) and publish necessary operational document for implementation to ensure agreed service delivery SLAs are achieved.
- Analyse and develop data capturing modules including dashboards (Airside team's turnaround time and utilisation, equipment requirement, Monthly operational plan) pertaining to day-to-day operations and resource utilisation for the purpose of Operational insights and business intelligence reporting and decision making.
- Monitor and supervise the FOS (Flight Operations support) team to provide 24x7 Galley Loading Plan (GLP) support on a daily basis to drive process efficiency and ensure agreed airline service delivery SLAs are achieved.
- Engage with internal stakeholders (FPO & ASO teams) to understand and evaluate the new customer (airline) requirements and its operational impact prior to implementation of the product or services on-board to ensure airline specifications or requirements are met or delivered.
- Support the Senior Managers of ASO and FPO in understanding the actual Business unit wise manpower demand based on the resource pipeline to ensure optimum manpower coverage on day of Operations and prevention of delays.
- Support the Senior Managers in the Operations team with the CAPEX/OPEX forecasts to ensure cost optimisation and adequate resource planning is achieved.
- Train, guide and manage the team's performance on daily basis and ensure high and low performance is appropriately rewarded and addressed.
- Promote and monitor a safe working environment by complying with the relevant QHSE standards and regulatory requirements.
Education Qualification:
a) Bachelor's Degree holder or certificates relevant to the field.
Work Experience:
a) 6+ years working experience in a largescale catering operations.
b) Good understanding of day to day catering operations and Business Continuity will be beneficial.
Skills:
a) Professional at building relationships, communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
b) Advanced excel and other operating system skills.
c) Confident with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
d) Strong supervisory skills, proficient planning and organising, problem solving, ability to work under significant pressure in a 24/7 working environment.
