Business System Analyst

IMPORTANT NOTE: SHOULD HAVE UAE WORKING EXPERIENCE

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering:

o Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

o Conduct interviews, workshops and surveys to understand business needs.

2. Data Analysis:

o Analyse large datasets to derive actionable insights.

o Use statistical and analytical tools to interpret data and identify trends.

3. Solution Design:

o Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design data driven solutions.

o Ensure that proposed solutions meet business requirements and objectives.

4. Documentation:

o Create detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications and use cases.

o Maintain documentation for data models, processes and system architecture.

5. Stakeholder Communication:

o Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the technical team.

o Communication complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.

6. Project Management:

o Assist in project planning, scheduling and coordination.

o Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

7. Quality Assurance:

o Participate in testing and validation of data solutions.

o Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing best practices in data management.

Qualifications:

Education:

o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field.

o Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred.

Experience:

o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data centric environment.

o Experience working in Big Data Analytics and AI projects preferred.

Technical Skills:

o Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI etc)

Analytical Skills:

o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

o Ability to interpret and analyse complex data sets.

Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Strong organizational skills and project management skills.

o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or related fields.
