Mission
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will manage and execute procurement activities to acquire goods and services efficiently. Your role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring that purchases align with organizational needs and budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct sourcing and procurement activities to acquire goods and services.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Manage purchase orders and track delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier interactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide solutions.
- Address and resolve any issues related to procurement and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Relevant training or certification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a similar buying or procurement role is desirable but not required.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
- Experience in in water field.
