Product Selection: Select and source luxury products and fabrics that align with our brand vision and meet customer demands.
Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with designers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the best pricing, quality, and exclusivity for our product offerings.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock turnover to optimise sales and minimize excess inventory, ensuring a well-curated selection is always available.
Sales Analysis: Utilise sales data and analytics to assess product performance and make informed buying decisions that drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the buying budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals and marketing strategies.
Trend Forecasting: Stay informed about emerging fashion trends, seasonal influences, and competitor activity to anticipate market shifts and adjust buying strategies accordingly.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Merchandising to determine buying strategies.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on buying performance, trends, and forecasts to Management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Buyer in the luxury fashion retail sector, with a strong track record of successful product selection and sales growth.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and inventory management systems.
Deep understanding of luxury fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and make data-driven decisions.
