Job Summary:
The CAD Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. The role involves translating design concepts into precise and accurate technical drawings for construction or documentation purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) based on rough sketches, specifications, and calculations from engineers and designers.
Develop layouts, plans, sections, and detailed views as required for engineering projects.
Modify and update designs according to feedback from engineers, architects, and clients.
Ensure that all drawings comply with industry and company standards.
Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure the accuracy of the drawings and the feasibility of the designs.
Attend project meetings and provide updates on the progress of drafting work.
Requirements:
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
Good understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
