CAD Fit-out and Joinery

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Fit-out Draughtsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This role requires proficiency in CAD software and a keen eye for detail.

• Key Responsibilities:

Technical Drawings:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software based on project specifications and requirements.

Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings for fit-out projects.

• Update and modify drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordination & Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers, architects, and designers to understand project requirements and objectives.

Coordinate with other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy of drawings.

• Attend project meetings to discuss and resolve design issues.

Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings.

• Conduct quality checks on drawings and plans to ensure they meet project specifications.

Documentation & Records:

• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

Ensure timely submission and distribution of drawings to relevant stakeholders.

• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.

Software Proficiency:

• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to produce accurate and detailed drawings.

Stay updated with the latest CAD software and industry trends.

• Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.

• Minimum of [X] years of experience as a CAD Draughtsman, preferably in fit-out projects.

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.

• Strong understanding of construction and fit-out processes.

Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with 3D modeling software.

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Previous experience in commercial and residential fit-out projects.

• Working Conditions:

* Office-based role with occasional site visits as required.

• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when needed.
