Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing Issues: Identifying vehicle problems using diagnostic tools and inspections.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Fixing engines, brakes, suspensions, and performing routine maintenance.
- Technical Expertise: Utilizing specialized tools and staying updated with automotive technology.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring repairs meet safety standards and following safety protocols.
- Customer Interaction: Communicating with customers, explaining repairs, and providing cost estimates.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining repair records and using computer systems for documentation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification/training in automotive technology.
- Experience as a car mechanic.
- Technical proficiency, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and safety adherence.
