We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Car Rental Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a passion for providing top-notch service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles.- Provide information about rental rates, terms, and conditions.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints efficiently.
- Process rental agreements and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
Verify customer identification and payment methods.- Perform vehicle inspections before and after rentals.
Manage reservations and coordinate vehicle availability.
- Promote and upsell additional services and insurance options.
Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.- Provide information on special offers and promotions.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the rental office.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
Assist in fleet management, including vehicle maintenance schedules.- Coordinate with the logistics team for vehicle deliveries and pickups.
Maintain accurate records of rentals, payments, and customer interactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Handle cash and credit card transactions securely.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in the car rental industry or a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.- Proficiency in using rental management software and MS Office applications.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic and other languages is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license.
