Responsibilities:- Manage Cargo Operations: Oversee loading/unloading, handling, storage, and timely delivery of cargo.
Ensure Safety and Compliance:
Conduct safety inspections, train staff, and maintain compliance with regulations.Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate cargo records, prepare reports, and handle customs documentation.Supervise Team: Lead and manage cargo handlers, assign tasks, and provide training.
- Coordinate and Communicate: Liaise with clients, shipping companies, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
Improve Efficiency:
Implement process improvements and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred).
Proven experience in cargo handling, logistics, or warehouse management.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
