Job Description

PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. PipeCare Groupis looking for an experienced Carpenter who will be responsible for maintenance of all cutting tools to meet standard cycle times and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities

  • To follow written and/or verbal instructions assemble products to schematics and/or design specifications using a variety of Testing equipment, hand tools including some precision soldering techniques
  • To test, troubleshoot and repair completed products and field returns as required
  • To assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to design, engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components
  • To operate drills, or other machine tools to fabricate parts, such as coils or other electronics section's related parts
  • Maintain work areas in a neat and tidy manner in line with HSE standards,
  • To conduct pressure testing
  • To execute all other tasks as requested by TM/Production Manager or by the immediate Supervisor within the assigned job role

Skills/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education level
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Construct, repairs, restores and installs structures such as floors, doors, walls, windows, stairways, furniture, cabinets, shelves, and roofs.

Inspection Technologies

Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL): Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss anomalies, especially circumferentially oriented.

Transverse Field Inspection (TFI): Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss anomalies, primarily axially oriented.

Ultrasound (UT): Detects and sizes general and other metal loss anomalies with high depth sizing accuracy.

Ultrasonic Crack Detection: Detects and sizes cracks and colonies of cracks.

Caliper (Geometry): Detects and sizes deviations in the ideal circular shape of a pipeline (dents, ovalities, wrinkles, etc.).

Combo Tools: Use multiple measurement systems in various combinations.
