We are currently hiring a
Category Manager - HoReCa (Ice Creams, Bakery & Pastry ingredients) for our client, a leading and very reputed name in bakery products in the UAE.
This role has come up as part of their growth and expansion plans for their ice cream, bakery & pastry ingredients and would involve driving the category sales with existing HoReCa accounts as well as new clients.
- Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to drive growth.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities.
- Oversee the performance of the product line, including sales, margins, and market share.
- Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
- Plan and execute promotional activities to drive sales.
- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Adjust category strategies based on market insights and competitive landscape.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit margins.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
- Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor account performance and sales metrics.
- Work closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product development.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the ice creams / baking / pastry industry or related food industry experience in UAE.
- Proven experience in account management and category management.
- Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license
