Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experiencedCatering Manager whowill be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing catering events and services to meet the needs and expectations of clients. You will oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, staffing, budgeting, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with clients to create customized menus that meet their preferences and dietary requirements. Develop innovative and appealing menu options that align with current food trends and cater to diverse tastes.
-Collaborating with chefs and culinary teams to design buffet menus that appeal to the target clientele, considering factors such as taste preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal availability of ingredients.
- Supervise kitchen staff in preparing high-quality food items according to established recipes and food safety standards. Ensure that all dishes are presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature.
- Train and manage catering staff, including chefs, cooks, servers, and bartenders. Assign duties, schedule shifts, and provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service.
- Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including logistics, setup, and breakdown. Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure that all details are executed flawlessly, from venue selection to dcor and entertainment.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to address their inquiries, provide updates on event planning progress, and promptly resolve any issues or concerns. Strive to exceed client expectations and foster long-term relationships.
-Develop and manage budgets for catering events, ensuring that expenses are kept within budgetary constraints while delivering high-quality service and products. Monitor costs, negotiate vendor contracts, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
-Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and licensing requirements. Implement proper procedures for storing, handling, and serving food to maintain quality and safety standards.
-Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote catering services and attract new clients. Participate in networking events, trade shows, and promotional activities to showcase the company's offerings and expand its customer base.
