• Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled CCIE Data Center Engineer with expertise in Cisco Nexus and ACI technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex data center environments. This role requires a deep understanding of data center networking, virtualization, and automation to ensure the highest levels of performance, availability, and security.

• Key Responsibilities:

Data Center Design & Implementation:

• Design and deploy scalable, high-performance data center networks using Cisco Nexus and ACI technologies.

Lead the deployment and integration of Cisco ACI solutions, including fabric infrastructure, APIC controllers, and network profiles.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data center architecture with business goals and requirements.

Network Management & Optimization:

• Manage and optimize Nexus-based data center networks, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.

Implement best practices for data center network security, redundancy, and disaster recovery.

• Perform regular network assessments and tuning to ensure optimal performance.

Automation & Orchestration:

• Develop and implement automation strategies using Cisco ACI and related tools.

Create and maintain scripts and playbooks for network automation (e.g., using Python, Ansible).

• Work on the integration of ACI with existing network management and orchestration tools.

Troubleshooting & Support:

• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex network issues in the data center environment.

Lead the root cause analysis of critical network incidents and implement corrective actions.

• Offer technical support and guidance to junior engineers and IT staff.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data center network configurations, processes, and changes.

Prepare detailed reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements.

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation for all automation scripts and configurations.

• Required Qualifications:

CCIE Certification in Data Center (mandatory).

• years of hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches and ACI solutions.

Extensive knowledge of data center networking, including VLANs, VxLAN, and fabricpath technologies.

• Proficient in data center virtualization technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of network automation and orchestration using Cisco ACI, Python, and Ansible.

• Experience with network monitoring and performance tools specific to data center environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on high availability and performance.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with [specific technologies or vendors relevant to your environment, such as Cisco UCS, HyperFlex, etc.].

• Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid cloud architectures.

Familiarity with SDN technologies and principles.
