Job Title: CCIE - Security Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced CCIE Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions. This role involves working on complex security challenges, protecting critical network infrastructures, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Security Architecture & Design:
- Design and implement secure network architectures using industry best practices.
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ensure that security designs are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Network Security Implementation:
- Configure and manage security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances.
Implement and maintain security controls to protect network infrastructures from cyber threats.
- Integrate security solutions with existing network infrastructure and ensure minimal disruption.
Security Monitoring & Incident Response:
- Monitor network security events and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead incident response efforts and develop incident response plans.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure that network security practices comply with industry standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Maintain documentation of security processes, configurations, and incident reports.
Technical Leadership & Support:
- Provide technical leadership to junior security engineers and IT staff.
Serve as a subject matter expert on security technologies and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions that support business objectives.
Training & Awareness:
- Develop and deliver security training programs for internal teams.
Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
CCIE Certification in Security (mandatory).
- years of hands-on experience in network security, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Extensive knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.- Strong understanding of security protocols and standards, such as SSL/TLS, IPsec, and RADIUS.
Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Proficient in network security practices, such as access control, identity management, and threat detection.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex security challenges.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with [specific security technologies or vendors relevant to your environment, such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.].
- Knowledge of cloud security and hybrid cloud environments.
