JOB SUMMARY:
The Application Engineer Fluids is responsible for leveraging expert-level engineering knowledge to help customers solve complex fluid dynamics problems in various industries using ANSYS Fluids Products.

Key Responsibilities:
Function as a specialist in the use and application of Ansys Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation tools (Fluent, CFX).
Provide technical support for customers by responding to Customer inquiries, guiding them through challenging industrial applications and recommending the most appropriate solutions.
Instruct training classes on the usage of ANSYS Fluids products.
Lead & assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity such as technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.
Execute and actively participate in R&D projects to support customer design/engineering processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master's/PhD in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical/Civil, Aerospace/Aeronautical, Chemical, Environmental).
Good Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer fundamentals and expertise in CFD analysis and general numerical methods.
Demonstrated use of Ansys CFD or similar Commercial CFD tools.
Engaging personality, engineering curiosity and willingness for continuous learning.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as with others in a diverse team environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers.
Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English.
Logical problem-solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solution to the customer.
Professional image and strong business acumen.
Possesses a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
