Job Title: Chartering Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE

We are actively seeking an energetic Chartering Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai. In this role, you will be leveraging your skills to develop new markets, new segments, new geographies under the directions and mandate from the leadership team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Identify and capitalize on profitable chartering opportunities in the Supra and handy market.
- Reach out to customers in the arena and build win-win business relationships.
- Craft contracts with ship owners and charterers with exceptional due-diligence skills.
- Analyze market trends, freight rates, demand and supply to take informed decisions.
- Brainstorm with team about new opportunities, prospects and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the operations and accounts teams for profitable execution.
- Build a cargo and vessel portfolio with all data and analytics as a tool for decision making.
- Participate in conferences and meet with thought leaders of the industry, from time to time.
- Upskill, re-skill and share enriching experience with team members to learn and grow
Requirements:
- Demonstrated third party Chartering record with a strong focus on the Pacific Market.
- A seafarer with sailing and Chartering experience is a preferred choice.
- Demonstrated ability to apply business sense in commercial execution.
- Exceptional analytical skills to interpret market data, Baltic reports and synthesize.
- Proven communication skills with a demonstrated ability to capture customers voice.
- A sense of commitment to the mission and precipitating the profit at the bottom line.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to thrive in fast growing SME environment.
