Element has opportunity for a
Chemist (Inorganic / Wet Chemistry) to join our growing team in Dubai and this is a great opportunity to develop your testing career within a Global TIC business.
In this role , you will be primarily working in the inorganic section analyzing construction materials and soil samples using traditional wet techniques and instrumentation.

Responsibilities
- Work unsupervised in the inorganic section analysing water, soil and construction material samples using instrumental and traditional techniques as appropriate
- Assist in Preparing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) review, update, planning and implementation according to the guidelines ISO 17025 protocols
- Assist in modifying the existing analytical SOPs as and when required and setting up new analytical methods
- Maintain quality records in the laboratory as per ISO 17025 and adhere to a comprehensive ISO 17025 quality system
- Efficiently utilise the LIMS systems
Skills / Qualifications
- Have a diploma / degree in chemistry with at least 1 to 3 year experience in similar role
- Have the ability to work in teams under pressure and flexible to work different working hours (night / day) shifts if required or necessary
