Job Description
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes. Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts. Analyze variances between actual results and budget, providing insights and recommendations. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards. Prepare and submit tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Monitor and manage costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead. Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies. Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support. Conduct performance evaluations and identify opportunities for professional development. Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Provide insights on financial performance, trends, and projections to senior management. Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations. Manage working capital, including accounts receivable and payable. RequirementsBachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are highly preferred. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling and analysis tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Strong leadership and team management skills.
