Chief Digital Innovation Officer (CDIO) â FI

The Chief Digital Innovation Officer (CDIO) will lead the digital transformation strategy of the FI. This role involves integrating advanced digital technologies, including Digital Assets, Payment Wallets, Decentralized Applications, P2P, Token etc, to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and overall business performance. The CDIO will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and implement cutting-edge solutions.
Continuously evaluate digital initiatives, adjusting approaches as needed to ensure effective resource allocation. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial services, digital banking, or fintech, with a proven track record of driving business growth and strong leadership skills.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the bank's vision and goals.
- Lead the integration of blockchain technology to streamline banking processes and enhance security.
- Oversee the digitalization of banking services, ensuring seamless customer experiences across all digital platforms.
- Collaborate with IT, marketing, operations, and other departments to identify and implement digital initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze digital trends, market dynamics, and customer needs to inform strategy and innovation.
- Drive data-driven decision-making and foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital innovation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage risks associated with digital initiatives.
- Build and manage a high-performing digital team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior digital leadership role within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and its applications in banking.
- Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation projects and implementing innovative technologies.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the banking industry.
- Experience with agile methodologies and digital project management.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations.
