My client a leading corporate services provider in Sharjah, is dedicated to helping businesses navigate the complexities of company formation and growth in the UAE. They are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background to join their leadership team and drive operational excellence.
The Chief Operating Officer will oversee the execution of the operational processes and activities of the business. This role involves implementing daily operations aligned with organizational strategies and goals, ensuring efficient and effective performance across all divisions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ongoing operations for all divisions of the company, particularly those related to freezone, business setup, and corporate services.
- Develop and implement the business plan to achieve higher growth metrics, including profitability, cost reduction, revenue increase, and efficiency.
- Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team and work closely with the Managing Partner to ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
- Lead and develop a team across various functions, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to complete operations initiatives successfully.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the organization.
- Promote communication and cooperation among divisions to create a spirit of unity within the organization.
- Work autonomously while ensuring Managing Partner expectations are met and exceeded.
- Report progress, achievements, P&L, and budget performance to the Managing Director regularly, including any outstanding issues or those requiring input.
- Ensure roles and responsibilities are achieved in line with entity strategy, goals, and KPIs.
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Management, etc.).
- Demonstrable successful experience in management, sales, or operations within freezone, business setup, or corporate service provider sectors.
- Previous experience working in the UAE.
- Proficiency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient understanding of corporate financial statements.
- Strong understanding of operational procedures.
- Proven track record in promoting process improvement.
