Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall trading strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the cryptocurrency markets.
- Trading Operations: Oversee daily trading activities, ensuring optimal execution and performance.
- Risk Management: Develop and maintain robust risk management protocols to mitigate trading risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing trading team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Technology Integration: Leverage advanced trading technologies and platforms to enhance trading efficiency and effectiveness.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor trading performance and implement necessary adjustments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including technology, compliance, and finance teams, to ensure cohesive and effective trading operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in trading, with significant exposure to cryptocurrency markets.
- Proven track record in a senior trading role, preferably within a cryptocurrency or fintech company.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous.
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading strategies, and market dynamics.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
