Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Beirut, Lebanon. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budgetary constraints. Your expertise in civil engineering principles, project management, and problem-solving skills will be essential for the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Oversee construction activities, including site supervision, progress monitoring, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, plans, and specifications, making necessary revisions as needed.
- Estimate project costs, prepare budgets, and monitor expenses to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
- Prepare technical files for project submission, including project execution plans, QA/QC procedures, project schedules, and work strategies.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address concerns, obtain approvals, and facilitate project progress.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in civil engineering technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of managing construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
