We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Foreman to oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities on our civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
Manage and supervise a team of skilled laborers and subcontractors.- Interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
Maintain quality control standards throughout the construction process.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
Monitor project progress and report to project management.- Resolve on-site issues and problems efficiently.
Manage material and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate with project engineers and other site personnel.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in the UAE.
Proven ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (both written and spoken).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
