Clinical Psychologist (Arabic Speaking)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Abu Dhabi Government Hospital. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and possess exceptional clinical skills to provide psychological assessment and therapy services to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify mental health disorders, emotional disturbances, and behavioral issues.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Provide psychotherapy sessions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a range of psychological and emotional issues.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Stay current with advancements in the field of psychology through continued education and professional development activities.

Requirements:

Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

Valid medical license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the UAE.

Fluency in Arabic and English languages.

Demonstrated experience conducting psychological assessments and providing psychotherapy in a clinical setting.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Commitment to providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations.
