Cloud Director - GCP, Azure, AWS, OCI, Openstack, VMWare

Director of Cloud Consulting required to join a leading multinational investing heavily in expanding their team in the KSA. You should have a strong background in cloud technologies and recent experience of selling cloud engagement to large blue chip clients. You will work closely with C level stakeholders and above, building relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to them leading large-scale, complex Cloud Adoption and Transformation programmes within blue-chip organisations in the GCC area.

The Cloud Director position is a customer facing role that is accountable for Sales, Business Development. The ideal candidate will have experience selling Cloud Transformation, Cloud Strategy and Cloud Consulting projects. You will also oversee and lead the design and implementation of migration workloads on clouds including distributed applications and established success leading deep technical architecture/ application design discussions with customers to drive Cloud deployments.

Desired Skills and Experience as a Cloud Architect

• 10+ years of work experience with a strong technical background and recent experience of selling to clients.
• Strong presenting and consulting skills, leading in sales, responding to RFx's
• US$2m+ annual sales for the past 2 years at least
• in-depth knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, VMWare, Openstack etc)
• Understanding of systems, network, storage, identity and web technologies is a must.
• Analysis of cloud strategies, design and development of tools for Cloud Solutions.
• Proven ability in performing rapid assessments of clients internal technology landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Public Cloud technology.
• Ability to on-board seed systems onto Public Cloud and provide guidance in the platform evaluation.

Key Responsibilities as Cloud Architect

• In this role one will engage with a wide cross section of internal and external stakeholders - development, support, consulting services, and third-party partners to deliver cloud solutions.
• Drive the deployment of the customers workloads to GCP Cloud by providing deployment guidance, supporting development of the customers cloud adoption model, and providing appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers.
• Providing deep technical expertise. Lead deployment of projects, Creation and delivery of technical content, with a dedicated focus on Google cloud services, and lift and shift of customer workloads from OnPrem to Google Cloud.
