Cloud Networking and Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the Company Security network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cloud networking and cloud network security concepts and protocols, along with hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting network/cloud network.
Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
- Supporting and operating the Palo Alto security
- environment, making necessary adjustments and
- improvements.
- Supporting and operating gateway firewall security environment, making necessary adjustments and improvements.
- Supporting network infrastructure components,
- including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers,
- and VPNs.
- Configuring and maintaining firewall services to ensure
- high availability and optimal performance.
- Design and evaluate network infrastructure.
- Automation
Platform Management and Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize the performance of firewall
- security environments.
- Managing security platforms and systems such as
- VPNs, security policy, application security, and
- Logging
- Optimizing security platforms for scalability, reliability,
- and security.
Security and Compliance:
- Implementing and enforcing network security
- measures, including access controls, firewalls, and
- intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best
- practices for network security.
Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitoring network performance, analyzing traffic
- patterns, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Investigating and resolving firewalls and network issues, including performance degradation and connectivity problems.
Collaboration and Integration:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate
- network services with other systems and
- applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/ engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching and network security principles.
- Proven experience as a security engineer with a successful track record of designing and deploying firewall solutions with Palo Alto
- Proven experience in Palo Alto with Panorama and PAN-OS
- Proven Experience in supporting and managing enterprise-level firewall infrastructure and platforms.
- Strong Knowledge of firewall technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS, and Python programming language
- Certified CCNP/JNCIS
- Certified Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer
- Palo Alto Certificates (Preferably, PCNSA, PCNSE)
