Job Description:
The cloud solutions architect will be responsible for the presales work, designing and implementing cloud-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, hands-on experience with cloud platforms, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities Solution Architect:
- Design and architect cloud solutions, selecting appropriate cloud services, defining architecture patterns, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions and resolve technical challenges.
- Develop a deep understanding of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Huawei, Alibaba, or others. Stay updated on platform capabilities, features, and best practices to leverage them effectively in solution design.
- Develop migration strategies, migration plans, and cost optimization measures to maximize the benefits of cloud adoption.
- Ensure that cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data protection, access controls, encryption, and regulatory requirements. Implement security best practices and assist in security assessments and audits.
- Establish monitoring and performance optimization strategies to ensure the efficient operation of cloud solutions. Utilize monitoring tools and analytics to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
- Create documentation, architectural diagrams, and best practices guides to support the implementation and maintenance of cloud solutions. Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and training workshops to transfer expertise to internal teams.
Role and Responsibilities Presales Activities:
- Interact with potential clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and challenges related to cloud adoption. Conduct discovery sessions and technical workshops to gather relevant information and build rapport with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the cloud sales specialist and account managers team to develop customized cloud solutions that align with client needs and objectives. Leverage technical expertise in cloud platforms, services, and architectures to design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical proposals, presentations, and technical documentation that articulate the benefits and value proposition of the proposed cloud solutions. Tailor proposals to address specific client requirements and differentiate our offerings from competitors.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and delivery teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and solution offerings.
- Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to showcase the capabilities and functionality of cloud solutions. Customize demonstrations to highlight features that are relevant to the client's use case and business objectives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, partners, and internally to foster trust and credibility.
Skills, Qualification and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
- Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
- Huawei Cloud Solution Architect
- Alibaba SCCC Cloud Solution Architect
- Experience with cloud migration tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and multi-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Adoption and change management.
- Proven experience in a technical pre-sales or solutions engineering role, with a focus on cloud solutions.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing principles, architectures, and services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or others.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused mindset, with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
