We are in search of a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our client's team as a Cloud Security Architect, pivotal in ensuring the protection of client's data and applications on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Responsibilities include:
Designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge security solutions, drawing on expertise in data loss prevention (DLP), data classification, and security information and event management (SIEM).
Design and deploy secure Azure architectures:
- Ensure compliance of Azure environment and applications with IaaS and PaaS cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Assess enterprise-wide cloud applications like Oracle Fusion, HCM Fusion, and other ERPs.
- Implement secure Azure resource deployments, adhering to industry standards.
- Establish access control policies using Azure Active Directory and IAM.
- Develop cloud migration strategies executed by the AWS migration team.
Implement and oversee data security solutions:
- Configure and enhance Azure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to thwart sensitive data exfiltration.
- Devise and implement data classification strategies for sensitive information protection.
- Integrate Azure Security Center with a SIEM solution for thorough log analysis and threat detection.
Monitor and respond to security threats:
- Analyze security alerts and logs to detect suspicious activity and investigate potential incidents.
- Collaborate with the security operations team to address security incidents and rectify vulnerabilities.
- Develop and update incident response plans and playbooks.
Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies:
- Continuously learn and adapt to evolving threats and emerging security solutions.
- Keep abreast of Microsoft Azure security updates and releases.
- Effectively communicate security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills and attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
- Demonstrated proficiency with DLP technologies.
- Strong grasp of data classification principles and solutions.
- Experience with SIEM systems.
- Proven ability to design and implement secure cloud architectures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for security and commitment to staying updated with the latest trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Azure Security, Microsoft 365 Security, Cloud Security, CCSP, or CISSP.
- Experience with Azure Sentinel or another SIEM solution.
- Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, or GDPR.
