Job specific responsibilities:
1. Partner closely with IT teams and product managers to drive technical
projects, connecting the dots between high-level requirements and the
day-to-day execution of work.
2. Orchestrate the collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritizing
the work that needs doing against the capacity and capability of the
team.
3. Maintain project schedules and resource allocations while adapting to
technological uncertainties, multiple dependencies and changing
requirements.
4. Monitor day-to-day activities of the IT teams and ensure work
progresses as planned. Provide regular updates on burn rate, team
capacity and velocity.
5. Analyze project risks and develop recommendations for risk
mitigation.
6. Communicate project status, risks, issues, decisions and action items
to key stakeholders and internal teams within the organization.
7. Collaborate with the product and IT teams to ensure epics and user
stories are clearly defined, estimated, and properly phased to facilitate
timely delivery of functionality.
8. Manage change management process with product manager(s) and cloud heads.
9. Act as the point of escalation for risks, issues, and obstacles, ensuring action items are clearly defined, assigned to owners, and driven to resolution in a timely manner. Make certain all team members are involved and engaged by ensuring clear decisions occur with the correct parties involved.
10. Coordinate the creation of technical documentation.
11. Partner with the marketing, product and IT lead(s) to ensure the team's roadmap and backlog priorities are maintained to enable a smooth agile development process and minimize blocker
Specialization:
- Bachelor's degree in computer/Communication Engineering or equivalent
- MBA or relevant experience.
- PMP. Prince 2, ITIL and ITSM certified or relevant experience.
- 12+ Years Experience of public cloud technical Project Management.
- Overall knowledge of public cloud architecture, and technical requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, simultaneous, cross-functional work streams
- Demonstrated client relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with an ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written are a must.
- Client-focused attitude.
