Job Summary
The Club Executive Manager is responsible for overseeing all club operations to meet company requirements and ensure member satisfaction. This role requires maintaining the highest professional standards in accordance with Porto Sporting Clubs policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Club Management: Oversee the club's operations, providing opportunities for members to engage in sporting, social, cultural, and recreational activities as per the club's policies.
- Membership Decisions: Evaluate and decide on new membership applications.
- Complaint Handling: Address and resolve complaints submitted by or against members, applying penalties as per club regulations.
- Committee Formation: Establish internal committees to manage and organize the club's affairs as needed.
- Annual Reporting: Prepare and submit the annual report of the club's various activities to the board of directors.
- Administrative Supervision: Oversee all administrative work and personnel affairs.
- Staff Management: Appoint club employees, determine their salaries and remuneration, and implement board-decided measures regarding staff.
- Board Decisions Implementation: Execute the decisions made by the board of directors.
- Records Maintenance: Supervise the preparation and preservation of files, records, and documents.
- Board Liaison: Present important topics raised by members to the board of directors.
- Club Representation: Represent the club in interactions with other bodies and individuals, with the deputy assuming this role in the manager's absence.
- Correspondence: Sign club correspondences directed to various parties.
- Financial Oversight: Co-sign exchange bills with the financial manager.
- Construction Supervision: Follow up on all ongoing construction or development projects at the club.
- Procurement Management: Oversee purchase and contracting requests related to the club until completion.
- Additional Duties: Perform other functions delegated by the board of directors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in club management, sports management, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for administrative and financial management.
