The Cluster Director of Marketing will be responsible for leading and managing the marketing strategies for both Movenpick Hotel Sharm El Sheikh and Mercure Hotel Hurghada.
This role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, drive revenue growth, and maintain a competitive edge in the hospitality market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Strategic Planning and Leadership:**
- Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy for both hotels.
- Align marketing initiatives with the business objectives of each property.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the marketing teams at both locations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
2. **Brand Management:**
- Uphold and enhance the brand standards of Movenpick and Mercure.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
- Oversee the development of promotional materials and campaigns that reflect the unique identity of each hotel.
3. **Digital Marketing:**
- Manage online presence, including the hotels websites, social media platforms, and third-party booking sites.
- Optimize SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility and direct bookings.
- Analyze digital marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
4. **Sales Support:**
- Collaborate with the sales teams to develop targeted campaigns for specific market segments.
- Create and execute marketing initiatives to support sales efforts and revenue goals.
- Develop partnerships and promotions to drive occupancy and revenue.
5. **Content Creation and Management:**
- Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels.
- Ensure the content aligns with the hotels branding and strategic goals.
- Manage external agencies and vendors for content production.
6. **Public Relations and Communication:**
- Manage public relations efforts to enhance the hotels reputations.
- Coordinate media relations, including press releases and media events.
- Develop internal communication strategies to keep staff informed and engaged.
7. **Budget Management:**
- Prepare and manage the marketing budget for both properties.
- Track and report on marketing expenditures and ROI.
- Ensure cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
8. **Performance Analysis and Reporting:**
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on marketing activities, results, and recommendations.
- Utilize analytics to inform future marketing strategies and improve effectiveness.
9. **Guest Engagement and Loyalty:**
- Develop strategies to enhance guest engagement and build customer loyalty.
- Implement marketing initiatives to support loyalty programs and repeat business.
- Collect and analyze guest feedback to refine marketing approaches.
10. **Team Development:**
- Recruit, train, and mentor the marketing team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative working environment.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with a significant portion in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-property environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
