Job Purpose
To support the Regional Sales Manager in achieving sales objectives by managing branch operations within the cluster. This includes leading the sales team, enhancing customer relationships, and maximizing product distribution to drive business growth.
Accountabilities
Cluster Management
- Oversee sales, profitability, and operations across assigned branches.
- Coordinate with Depot Supervisors and Field Sales Managers (FSM) to optimize sales, distribution, and smooth operations.
Customer Relations & Development
- Maintain direct contact with high-volume customers in designated depots.
- Focus on business development, achieving sales targets, and ensuring efficient operations with minimal product damage or expiry.
Team Leadership & Training
- Drive channel growth by training and guiding FSMs, Supervisors, and team members on KPIs and performance expectations.
- Conduct regular training sessions to align the team with management's latest objectives.
Strategic Focus on KPIs
- Focus on achieving targets in new business areas such as IRED, Unbilled, Must Billed, and RGM packs.
- Conduct monthly site visits to depots to monitor progress toward KPI goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support Depot Supervisors by acting as the main liaison with Supply Chain, Finance, Administration, and Fleet departments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years in sales, with a proven background in team management and customer relationship building.
