Job Description

Company Introduction

EPI is fully equipped for machining, manufacturing engineering, surface treatment, coating, repairing, and cutting tools and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and generating CMM programs in PCDMIS & Touch DMIS software & CMM WIs for specific parts/Projects.
  • Reviews blueprints and specifications to establish correct inspection criteria.
  • Manages CMM team & development of the team, Monitoring of teams Efficiency/output as per schedule, shift assignments.
  • Responsible to complete first article inspections, in-process inspections and final inspection of parts and assemblies against blueprints, engineering drawings, strong knowledge of GD&T and job travelers to ensure that our products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Well versed with Dimensional inspection by using of precision measuring equipment including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, height gages, CMM and Romer Arm/Faro Arm.
  • Perform receiving inspection on all goods and services; verifying quality and receiving codes are met and quantities received are accurate.
  • Non-Conforming Product-Segregates and reports all non-conforming material and parts for prompt corrective action.
  • Report of Findings and Complete data entry, prepares reports and issues findings as required using operating software and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel) to support inspection activities.
  • Maintain current calibration status on all equipment as required.
  • Utilize GageTrak to monitor status and ensure no devices go past due on calibration.
  • Coordinate on-site and off-site calibration activities, as well as perform calibration of instruments in-house.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, production, manufacturing) or equivalent.
  • Aerospace, Defence and Oil &Gas is desirable
  • AS9100 and ISO quality standard certification desirable
  • 10 years of experience in Quality control (Inspection and CMM programming PCDMIS, Touch DMIS).
  • Aerospace, Defence and Oil & Gas experience is desirable
  • Hands on working experience of QA tools
  • Support with Internal Audits;
