Job Description: As a CNC Operator at our advertising company, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate advertising displays, signage, and promotional materials. You will work with various materials such as wood, metal, plastics, and composites to produce precise components based on design specifications. This role requires technical expertise in CNC programming, machine setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure efficient and accurate production. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and production managers to deliver high-quality products that meet client requirements and deadlines.
Set up CNC machines including loading materials, tools, and programs.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM software to program CNC machines.
Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.- Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as necessary to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot issues with CNC machines and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production schedules and workflow.
CNC Operator requirements and qualifications
Minimum of a High School Diploma
Minimum of 1 or 2 years of experience as a CNC machine operator
Strong computer skills
Strong math skills
Excellent technical skills
Highly developed attention to detail
Excellent analytical skills
Highly developed concentration and precision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Experience in 3D designing in machine software and operations
