Job Purpose
Preparing CNC Programs for CNC horizontal and vertical lath, and planomillers.
Job Responsibilities
Technical
- Generate G-Codes using CAMWORKS
Good command in programming for CNC horizontal and vertical lath using FANUC control system
- Performing a complete range of turning, milling, drilling tapping and boring operations on Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machines
- Full awareness of all types of set-up including fixture alignment and tool setting.
- Prepare setup plan
- Prepare tooling plan
- Trouble shooting & Improvement of design process
Quality
- Adhering to the EHS requirements for the manufacturing and operations
Process Optimization
Product and process review for maximization of machine utilization
Recognize machine malfunction and conduct trouble shooting to take the appropriate actions
- Identifying the opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
- Implement new techniques, technologies, or equipment upgrades to improve Design and Machining processes.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of codes
- Providing technical support for design team.
Adaptability to fulfill any other job responsibilities as required by the company.
Job Requirements
- Diploma Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proven experience (typically 6+ years) in CNC machining processes within a similar manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of casting and machining operations, principles.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining of big parts (20 tons+)
- Strong knowledge in CAMWORKS software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial environments.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
- Teamwork: Collaboration with engineers, designers, and other team members is often necessary, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
