Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Co-Founder & CEO to join our team and lead a new venture within Get Started. As the Co-Founder & CEO, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, building and leading the team, and driving the overall success of the venture. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a high-potential startup from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

1. Vision and Strategy:

Develop and Articulate Vision:

  • Craft a compelling vision for the new venture that aligns with Get Started's overall mission.
  • Communicate this vision effectively to stakeholders, including team members, investors, and partners.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Define the target market and customer segments.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop a comprehensive business plan outlining short-term and long-term goals.
  • Create a strategic roadmap with clear milestones and deliverables.

2. Leadership and Team Building:

Recruitment:

  • Identify and attract top talent across various functions, including technology, marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Build a diverse and inclusive team that fosters innovation and collaboration.

Team Development:

  • Provide ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a positive and productive work culture that encourages creativity and accountability.

Performance Management:

  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Address any performance issues promptly and constructively.

3. Business Development:

Partnerships:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships that can drive growth and add value to the venture.
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements.

Customer Acquisition:

  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire and retain customers.
  • Leverage various channels, including digital marketing, sales, and public relations.

Investor Relations:

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential investors.
  • Prepare and present compelling pitches to secure funding.

4. Financial Management:

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and manage the venture's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Create financial forecasts and monitor financial performance against targets.

Fundraising:

  • Lead fundraising efforts, including preparing pitch decks, meeting with investors, and negotiating terms.
  • Ensure the venture has sufficient capital to achieve its growth objectives.

Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.

5. Product Development:

Product Strategy:

  • Define the product vision and strategy, ensuring it meets market needs and customer expectations.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.

Development Process:

  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

User Experience:

  • Focus on creating an exceptional user experience that drives customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Implement user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the product.

6. Operational Excellence:

Process Optimization:

  • Establish and optimize operational processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Implement best practices in project management, quality assurance, and risk management.

Technology Infrastructure:

  • Ensure the venture has the necessary technology infrastructure to support its operations.
  • Oversee the implementation of tools and systems that enhance productivity and collaboration.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the venture's success.

7. Marketing and Branding:

Brand Development:

  • Develop a strong brand identity that resonates with the target audience.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive branding strategy.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts.

Public Relations:

  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.
  • Manage public relations efforts to enhance the venture's visibility and reputation.

8. Stakeholder Management:

Communication:

  • Maintain open and transparent communication with all stakeholders, including team members, investors, partners, and customers.
  • Provide regular updates on the venture's progress and performance.

Feedback Loop:

  • Establish mechanisms for gathering and incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
  • Use feedback to inform strategic decisions and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CEO, Co-Founder, or in a similar leadership role within a startup or high-growth company.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of successfully launching and scaling ventures.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
  • Experience in fundraising and investor relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
