Roasting Operations:o Operate coffee roasting equipment to roast coffee beans according to specified profiles and quality standards.
o Monitor and document the roasting process using the provided software, including temperature, time, and airflow, to ensure consistent results.
o Adjust roasting profiles based on cupping results and feedback.

Quality Control:o Conduct regular cupping sessions to evaluate the quality and flavor profile of roasted coffee.
o Identify and address any defects or inconsistencies in the green beans and roasted coffee.
o Maintain detailed records of roast profiles, cupping notes, and quality assessments in the companys records.

Green Coffee Management:o Inspect and prepare green coffee beans for roasting.
o Ensure the proper storage and rotation of green and roasted coffee beans.
4)
Equipment Maintenance:o Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of roasting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
o Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with roasting machinery as needed.
5)
Packaging and Labeling:o Assist in the packaging and labeling of roasted coffee, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards and government regulations.
o Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area.
6)
Safety and Compliance:o Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
o Comply with all relevant food safety and quality standards.
7)
Continuous Improvement:o Stay updated on industry trends, new roasting techniques, and coffee varieties.
o Provide input and suggestions for improving roasting processes and product quality.
8)
Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of coffee beans (up to 50 lbs).
Capacity to work in a hot environment and stand for extended periods.
Passion for coffee and a sincere interest in the coffee roasting process.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
