We're looking for a Commercial Director to lead our commercial operations, forge relationships with dealerships and showrooms, and drive strategic initiatives.
This role reports directly to the COO and plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's cost-effective procurement strategies, particularly within the automotive segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative procurement strategies
- Establish and maintain key relationships with dealerships and showrooms
- Lead training programs for the commercial team
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relations
- Analyze market trends to inform strategic decisions
- Experience in category management and demand planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, retail or a related field
- 7+ years in procurement, ideally within the automotive sector
- Proven ability to build and sustain strategic relationships
- Proven track record in supplier negotiations, cost optimization, and strategic sourcing preferably within the automotive sector
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Automotive experience is a PLUS
