Job Description

lead commercial and innovation efforts within the wholesale building materials sector. This is a crucial leadership role responsible for driving profitable growth through strategic marketing, sales expansion, and the development of innovative products and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve ambitious sales and market share growth objectives.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing commercial team, including sales, marketing, and customer service personnel.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new customer segments and sales opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and industry partners to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Champion and lead the company's innovation efforts, identifying new product and service opportunities aligned with market trends and customer needs.
  • Oversee product development and launch processes, ensuring successful market introduction of innovative solutions.
  • Develop and implement effective pricing and channel management strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain strong communication channels with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a commercial leadership role within the building materials industry, preferably in cement or related products.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving profitable growth.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities.
