Our client, a prominent player in the real estate and construction sector, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both pre and post-contracts, as well as commercial management, and will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial and commercial aspects of construction projects, from pre-contract to project completion.
- Lead cost planning, procurement, and value engineering processes.
- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Manage contracts and negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project performance and ensure alignment with contractual terms and conditions.
- Provide strategic advice on cost control, risk management, and project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is essential.
- Proven experience in commercial management and quantity surveying, ideally with a consultancy or real estate development background.
- Strong experience in both pre and post-contract management.
- Preference for candidates with a Western background, but not exclusive.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
