Role Purpose
To lead commercial operations and oversee successful project delivery for Ricardo's Clean Energy & Environmental Solution initiatives within the Middle East. This role involves senior client relationship management, risk assessment, and commercial oversight to ensure projects meet required standards, are delivered on time, and achieve targeted financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee regional projects with a focus on scope, budget, and quality, ensuring commercial and financial objectives are met.
- Collaborate with project and technical leaders to implement proactive risk mitigation strategies and ensure project success.
- Manage client relationships to align project expectations, address issues proactively, and uphold company reputation.
- Provide commercial and financial guidance to technical leaders, ensuring projects meet quality, time, cost, and profitability targets.
- Ensure all project activities comply with EHS and ESG standards and that deliverables meet quality assurance requirements.
- Identify business expansion opportunities, strengthening partnerships and alliances with key clients.
- Lead resourcing and team collaboration efforts to support effective project delivery and regional growth.
Key Competencies And Experience
- Regular domestic and international travel required.
- Extensive experience in commercial project delivery within the Middle East, with expertise in financial oversight, budgeting, and risk management in consulting.
- Proficient in business performance reporting, budgetary, and financial processes.
- Skilled in overseeing complex projects with a focus on commercial objectives, client needs, and regulatory standards.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced in proactive risk and challenge management, with a background in using business systems to analyze data for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Desirable Competencies And Experience
- Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
- Experience of working in a complex / matrix global organization.
- Familiarity with leveraging digital and technical solutions to enhance service offerings.
