Apt Resources is a leading recruitment consultancy serving the hospitality industry. We are currently seeking a Commis 1 - Cold Kitchen to join the team at a Royal Palace, one of our esteemed clients.
As a Commis 1 - Cold Kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling a wide range of cold dishes such as salads, sandwiches, and other related dishes. Your role will be vital in maintaining the highest culinary standards and ensuring the satisfaction of the palace guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present cold food items, including salads, sandwiches, and other related dishes
- Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
- Assist in organizing and stocking ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commis 1 or similar role in a cold kitchen
- Strong knowledge of cold food preparation and plating techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
- As this job is in a Royal Palace, you will be required to stay in the shared staff accommodation provided by the Palace.
Benefits
The salary package is AED 3500 - 4000 + free accommodation, food and all benefits as per UAE laws
