Commis 1 - Continental & Indian cuisine

This is a full-time role as a Commis 1 specializing in Continental & Indian cuisine. As a Commis 1, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of food items under the supervision of a Chef de Partie or a Sous Chef. Your day-to-day tasks will include preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes and standards, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and ensuring the quality of the final food products. This is an on-site role located in Sharjah.

• Previous experience as a Commis or in a similar role
• Knowledge of Continental & Indian cuisine
• Basic culinary skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for food preparation
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
