Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various breakfast, French dishes, including sauces, soups, meats, seafood, vegetables, and desserts.
Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.- Follow recipes and techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used.
- Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
Assist with inventory and stock management.- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef, with specific experience in French cuisine preferred.- Knowledge of French cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Attention to detail and a passion for food.- Certification from a culinary school or apprenticeship program is a plus.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
