We are looking for a dedicated
Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of Lebanese dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in a dynamic culinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Lebanese dishes under the supervision of the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
- Ensure all food items are prepared according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Participate in the setup and breakdown of kitchen operations.
- Support senior chefs with various kitchen tasks as needed.
- Learn and apply Lebanese cooking techniques and presentation styles.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of Lebanese cuisine and cooking techniques is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Food safety certification is a plus.
