The Cinema Manager is responsible for providing and managing courteous and professional Guest service to cinema guests. Assists both the Management and team in all operational areas as well as holding overall responsibilities of property operations (guest relations, F&B, maintenance content management, box office and revenue and safety standards)

Here's your chance to step into the role of Commis Chef at Roxy Cinemas part of Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

The Commis chef assists in the preparation of food and beverages that will delight our Guests. Perform food preparation according to the standard as well as a broad range of kitchen responsibilities. always maintain HACCP standards. The position ensures compliance with all procedures, safety regulations, Service Excellence, and the highest possible presentation standards

Key Responsibilities:

• To display a friendly, helpful, and cheerful attitude while communicating effectively with our Guests and fellow Team Members in order to support DHE Vision, Core Values, and Service Excellence Guidelines.
• To represent & promote DH Leisure & Entertainment and business unit in a positive manner in order to maintain a professional brand image.
• To listen actively to our guest feedback, requests and concerns in order to take action in an ethical, effective and timely manner to exceed their expectations.
• To ensure the enforcement of business unit rules and provide crowd control in an efficient manner throughout the areas as necessary to ensure the guest`s safety an enjoyable experience.
• Follow, implement, and train on HACCP procedures
• Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Team

Qualifications: High School Certificate or equivalent certification / diploma in culinary

Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar Food & Beverage capacity

Skills:

• To work with implements / tools / equipment that include, but are not limited to light and heavy kitchen equipment
• Observe and practice good food hygiene procedures.
• Follow Workplace Hygiene procedures in accordance with Food Safety Program.
• Develop knowledge to operate all specialized kitchen equipment.
• Develop knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
• Ensure food handling is carried out according to Food Safety Program.
• Perform corrective action within the level of responsibility, according to the Food Safety Program
• always Demonstrate manual-handling techniques.
• Clean, maintain and follow operating procedures for all basic equipment as outlined in the kitchen manuals.
• Receive and store stock using stock rotation method.
• Monitor and record temperatures.
• Follow chemical safety procedures
• Assist with monthly stock takes.
• To work mainly indoors in a warm and possibly humid environment.
• To work in wet conditions with heated water and cooking agents.
• Display courtesy towards all Guests and Team Members.
• Ensure safe and organized evacuation of DHE F&B locations and kitchens according to SOP and crisis management plan
• Monitor and record daily HACCP report through food watch
