Commissioning Manager

SEPAM's business is going through a period of growth and we have a number of large scale and mega project clients that will challenge our Engineering team.

Our Ireland & Saudi Arabia offices are growing our internal Engineering capabilities and this role will see you work on major projects in Saudi and across the Middle East based in either Ireland or Saudi Arabia.

SEPAM is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager that will be responsible for providing a planned, documented, and managed engineering and construction approach to the turnover and/or commissioning requirements for pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, operations and testing and final hand-over of facilities, systems, and equipment to end clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure strong, experienced, professional and capable teams are in place and trained.
• Participate in the development of the Site Quality Manual (SQM) assisting the Quality Manager and engineering discipline leads in determining the appropriate requirements for the equipment.
• Manages the work to the terms of the contract by eliminating leakage and optimizing returns.
• Responsible for participation in developing, preparing and managing the approved Turnover & Commissioning budget, estimates.
• Participates in Sub contracting plans for pre-commissioning, turnover & commissioning, training, testing and start up activities.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining the system integrated turnover & commissioning schedule.
• Controlling all costs associated with commissioning labor and equipment.
• Developing a turnover & commissioning plan.
• Managing commissioning personnel.
• Integrating activities with Engineering, Construction Management, and Commissioning activities and deliverables.
• Manages risk as assigned by the Senior Project Site Management .
• Establishes system boundaries, scopes of work, and turnover & commissioning execution plans.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 10+ Years Commissioning experience
• Significant project experience managing large scopes of work
• Experience in Engineering, Construction &/or Oil & Gas
• Relevant qualification and training for Engineering & Commissioning related activites
