- Design and manage public outreach programs that make a meaningful impact, raising awareness about our environmental initiatives.
- Lead public relations efforts, developing compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, from policymakers to everyday citizens.
- Evaluate and adapt communication strategies based on feedback and metrics, ensuring our messages are effective and impactful.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent messaging and branding across all platforms, creating a cohesive story about our mission.
- Utilize digital tools and social media platforms to maximize our outreach, engaging with our audience where they are most active.
- Conduct media training sessions for key stakeholders, empowering them to communicate our message effectively.
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing our communication efforts and their impact on project goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in communications consulting, ideally with a focus on environmental projects.
- Exceptional communication and public relations skills, with a knack for engaging various stakeholders and fostering relationships.
- Proven ability to develop outreach campaigns that not only inform but inspire action.
- Experience in environmental communication or PR, bringing insight into effective practices within this vital sector.
- Creative content creation skills, including writing captivating press releases, articles, and social media posts that speak to different audiences.
- Analytical mindset to assess the effectiveness of communication efforts and make data-driven adjustments.
- Crisis communication skills, allowing you to respond swiftly and thoughtfully to public concerns or issues.
- Familiarity with environmental policies and sustainability issues, enabling you to communicate with confidence on relevant topics.
- Digital marketing savvy, including knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and analytics to optimize our outreach initiatives.
