The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Al Ain Mills operates in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, and providing guidance to management on compliance matters.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and interpret local, national, and international regulations affecting the flour manufacturing industry.
Ensure that the company complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and government agencies as necessary.
Policy Development and Implementation:- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
Audit and Monitoring:
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Monitor and report on compliance-related issues and risks.
Training and Communication:- Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
Act as a point of contact for compliance-related queries and concerns.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess areas of potential compliance risk.
Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.
Documentation and Reporting:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities.
Prepare regular compliance reports for senior management and the board of directors.
Required Qualifications:-
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP, CCO) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for food safety and manufacturing.
