Job Summary
The Compliance Officer at MLG will ensure that the organization and its projects adheres to legal standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. This role involves developing, implementing, and updating compliance policies and procedures while actively monitoring organizational practices to mitigate compliance risks. The Compliance Officer will provide training and education to employees on compliance matters, conduct internal investigations related to compliance breaches, and maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities. Additionally, the Compliance Officer will act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, ensuring effective communication and adherence to any inquiries or audits. The position requires a proactive approach to staying updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance strategies that align with digital transformation initiatives, ensuring all new technologies and processes meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with IT, business units, and external partners to integrate compliance controls into digital systems, automating compliance processes where possible to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Conduct regular risk assessments of digital transformation projects, leveraging data analytics to identify potential compliance issues, and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risks while supporting innovation.
- Review and assess contracts related to digital transformation projects, ensuring they comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and advising on necessary modifications to mitigate compliance risks.
- Design and optimize compliance processes within the digital ecosystem, creating standardized workflows and procedures that balance regulatory requirements with operational efficiency and user experience.
- Provide training and support to employees on compliance matters, fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.
- Conduct internal investigations into compliance breaches and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and report findings to management and regulatory bodies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and manage communication during audits and inquiries.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's industry and adjust policies accordingly.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law.
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Strong understanding of legal regulations and compliance requirements in the industry.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong drafting skills English Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
